EU Pallet, EUR

According to EPAL (European Pallet Association), euro pallets are the standard pallets used for transport in Europe. EUR pallets are eligible for the European Pallet Pool (EPP) – the system that allows a ”pallet for pallet” exchange. Standard Pallet, EUR2

Pallets are the most commonly used Unit Loads in global trade. They are wooden structures that have leveled surfaces. For safer and convenient transportation, forklifts place heavy products on these pallets. A few regions around the globe have their particular pallet sizes. Standart pallet..

North America Standard (GMA Pallet)

North American pallets are typically crafted from different materials. They have different thicknesses, heights, and widths. However, there are only two standard North American pallets.

How many EU pallets can you fit inside a 20ft & 40ft container?

  • layout 1: 11pcs of euro pallets fit in a 20 ft container
  • layout 2: 11pcs of euro pallets fit in a 20 ft container
  • layout 3: 24pcs of euro pallets fit in a 40 ft container
  • layout 4: 24pcs of euro pallets fit in a 40 ft container

20ft containers can fit 10 Standard Pallets and 11 Euro Pallets.

40ft standard containers fit up to 20 Standard Pallets, and 24 Euro Pallets. Due to Euro Pallets being 200mm narrower, they can be positioned lengthwise in a 40ft container, whilst Standard Pallets cannot.

40ft containers can also come in a ‘pallet wide’ option, although we currently do not offer this size, in which 24 Standard Pallets can securely and safely fit in the unit, whilst 30 Euro Pallets can be transported.
